About Me

Meet Your Therapist

Welcome! I'm Erica McEliece, owner and Licensed Massage Therapist. I blend a variety of techniques and styles into my sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, neuromuscular, and structural integration components. I worked as a pastry chef for nearly 20 years, and during that time I relied on regular massage to keep my body healthy and manage the stress of the kitchen. I decided to make a career change, and graduated from Discoverypoint School of Massage in 2019, where I am now an instructor. Since then I've been working in chiropractic clinics and sports-focused massage studios, honing my treatment skills and growing my love for the South Seattle community. My mission is to create a space where clients can experience deep relaxation, pain relief, and rejuvenation. I believe in the power of human touch and am committed to offering a personalized and holistic approach to massage therapy, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and cared for. I'm a longtime Beacon Hill resident with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. When I'm not working, I enjoy travel, long walks around the neighborhood, and spending time with my family. License #MA 60992368.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What if I don't want to book an appointment online?

Great! Call or text and I'll get you on the books.

Do I have to take my clothes off for my massage?

That's up to you. Some people choose to leave their underwear on, some people take everything off, and some choose to wear a tank top or sports bra and shorts or leggings. Your buttocks, genitals, and chest will remain covered throughout the session, and I will only uncover the part of your body I'm working on (like your leg, arm, or back).

Will this massage hurt?

It's my philosophy that massage should be relieving and effective, not painful. So if something feels uncomfortable, please tell me and we will adjust what we need to so that it feels comfortable for you.

I love a really deep massage! How deep can you go?

I often incorporate deep pressure and deep tissue techniques into my sessions, but if you are looking for very deep sustained pressure I can recommend other therapists in the area who specialize in that style.

What if I don't want massage on my (feet, scalp, etc.)?

That's ok! Just let me know and I will avoid those areas.

I need help filling out the forms! Can someone help me?

Yes, I can send them to you ahead of time and you can bring them in with you. Or you can take them home to fill them out, and bring them back later.

I have more questions!

Feel free to call, text, or email with any other questions or concerns.
